Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their aesthetic appeal, and ensure durable protection against the elements. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and repairing imperfections to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications Execute residential painting tasks including wall coatings, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and restoration projects Perform commercial and industrial painting on large-scale structures while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for each job Conduct surface preparation for masonry, stucco, concrete finishing, drywall repair, and renovation projects Assist with framing carpentry, masonry work, welding, and other handyman tasks as needed to support overall project completion Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of both residential and commercial applications Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and ability to read blueprints or schematics accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, power tools including sanders and sprayers Knowledge of color theory for effective color matching and aesthetic coordination Experience with plastering, stucco application, restoration work, fixture installation, and renovation projects is highly desirable Basic math skills for measurements and estimating project quantities Hands-on experience with carpentry (trim carpentry & frame carpentry), masonry or concrete finishing is a plus Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
