Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter and bring vibrant visions to life across residential, commercial, and renovation projects! As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for transforming spaces with expert painting techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that elevate the aesthetic appeal and durability of each project. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of surfaces and materials, utilizing your skills in both traditional and industrial painting methods. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail matter, this is your chance to make a lasting impact through color, texture, and precision. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray equipment (including airless paint sprayers), and power tools. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project scope and specifications. Perform specialty coatings including industrial painting, stucco application, masonry finishing, and restoration work. Install fixtures, trim carpentry, moldings, and perform drywall repairs as needed during renovation or remodeling projects. Use construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and materials needed for efficient job completion. Maintain safety standards on construction sites by following protocols related to scaffolding, welding (if applicable), and proper handling of hazardous materials. Requirements Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or construction painting environments with site familiarity. Strong knowledge of color theory and surface preparation techniques for various materials including plaster, concrete, masonry, and wood. Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, power tools, and spray equipment. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; basic math skills for measurements and calculations are essential. Experience with renovation projects involving demolition, framing carpentry (frame carpentry), trim carpentry, or restoration is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety practices related to construction sites including scaffolding use and handling of industrial coatings. Additional handyman experience such as fixture installation or maintenance tasks will be considered an asset. Join us in creating beautiful spaces while advancing your craftsmanship! We value skilled professionals who are eager to grow their expertise across diverse projects—your talent will help shape inspiring environments every day!
