In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of masonry tasks that contribute to the durability, aesthetic appeal, and structural integrity of building projects. Your expertise in concrete forming, rebar installation, and finishing techniques will be essential to delivering high-quality results. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to renovation and restoration efforts, utilizing your knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and various masonry methods. Responsibilities Construct and repair structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials with precision and attention to detail Set up forms for pouring concrete, ensuring proper alignment and measurements according to blueprints and schematics Install reinforcement bars (rebar) to strengthen concrete structures in compliance with safety standards Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, and sealing surfaces for a polished appearance Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately Apply skills in plastering, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, roofing, and other related trades as needed Assist in renovation or restoration projects by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for new work Collaborate with team members including carpenters, welders, heavy equipment operators, and project managers to meet project deadlines Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with masonry-related tasks Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and construction estimating processes Hands-on experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, frame carpentry, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of blueprint reading and working from schematics or technical drawings Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers; power tools including drills and saws; and specialized equipment like mixers or lifts Experience in tile laying, stucco application, roofing support activities or restoration projects is preferred but not required Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments Join us if you're eager to build lasting structures with precision craftsmanship!
