In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high-quality standards while motivating and guiding painters to achieve project goals. Your expertise in various painting techniques, surface preparation, and construction site procedures will be essential to drive successful project completion and client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Supervise and coordinate painting crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely project delivery Oversee surface preparation activities including sanding, plastering, caulking, and masonry work to guarantee optimal paint adhesion and durability Lead the application of various coatings using brush, roller, spray (including airless paint spraying), and conventional spraying techniques on diverse surfaces such as walls, ceilings, stucco, fixtures, and structural elements Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately execute renovation, restoration, or remodeling projects Ensure all safety regulations are followed rigorously; enforce proper use of respiratory protection, fall protection (ladder use), power tools, and hand tools on-site Conduct quality control inspections by visual color comparison and surface assessments to maintain high standards of finish Manage construction estimating tasks related to material needs and project scope adjustments while maintaining accurate documentation of work performed Skills Extensive experience with construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints Proficiency in residential painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, and drywall finishing; knowledge of commercial and industrial coating applications Strong understanding of surface preparation processes such as plastering, caulking, stucco application, and masonry work Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), and spray equipment for efficient application methods Knowledge of color theory for effective visual color comparison and aesthetic consistency across projects Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction painting environments; committed to safety protocol adherence and respiratory protection practices Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, area estimations, and material quantities Experience with fixture installation, frame carpentry, handyman tasks, renovation projects, and general maintenance work is a plus This role is ideal for someone passionate about leading teams in delivering top-tier painting solutions while ensuring safety and quality at every step.
