Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Shift starts at 8 or so but gets picked up at 6:15. ride is provided to work place. End time varies from 6-7 pm. Monday through Saturday. workdays depend on weather. Must be willing to work most days Workplace varies all the time Duties Measure and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to accurately install siding materials such as vinyl, metal, stucco, or fiber cement. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, framing, or applying insulation to ensure optimal siding adhesion and longevity. Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install siding panels according to manufacturer specifications. Follow all construction safety regulations, including proper use of safety harnesses, ladders, and scaffolding to prevent accidents. Conduct heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Maintain a clean work site by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Collaborate with team members on construction site experience, masonry work, carpentry, or other related tasks to support comprehensive exterior renovations. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation or exterior building work. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including ladder use, scaffolding safety, and harness protocols. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment essential for siding installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina for outdoor work environments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from blueprints or technical drawings. Additional skills such as welding, tile laying, plumbing integration, framing carpentry (including metal stud framing), restoration work or handyman experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
