In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing infrastructure across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your skills will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plumbing solutions that meet all safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an energetic environment where your craftsmanship makes a tangible difference every day. Occasional travel required. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building codes to ensure compliance during installation and repairs Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues early and implement effective solutions promptly Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project records Follow all safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for yourself and others Assist apprentices or junior team members in developing their skills through mentorship and guidance Qualifications Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification recognized by local licensing authorities Valid Alaska Driver License Proven experience in commercial or residential plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices in the industry Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients effectively Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods Embark on a career that values craftsmanship, safety, and teamwork!
