Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Journeyman Plumber/HVAC technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and HVAC systems across various commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure that systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances Service HVAC equipment such as air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ammonia refrigeration setups Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design plans to execute projects accurately Perform equipment repairs using tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment; conduct routine maintenance to prevent system failures Diagnose mechanical issues in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems and implement effective solutions Conduct field service visits for property maintenance, appliance repair, and system upgrades Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes during all installations and repairs Experience Proven journeyman-level experience in construction-related plumbing and HVAC work Service technician experience with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and ammonia refrigeration is preferred Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design principles Mechanical knowledge of boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related machinery Hands-on experience with equipment repair including welding and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters Field service background in property maintenance or appliance repair is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a a vehicle Join us to be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service through technical expertise and proactive maintenance.
