Journeyman Service Plumber DrainGo of Alabama LLC Full-Time | Residential & Commercial Service Plumbing Position Overview DrainGo of Alabama is looking for an experienced, dependable Journeyman Service Plumber to join our growing team. We are looking for more than someone who can turn a wrench. We want a skilled professional who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, works well with a team, and can diagnose plumbing problems and provide the right solution. Our Journeyman Plumbers handle residential, commercial, and property management service calls, including diagnostics, repairs, replacements, installations, and plumbing system troubleshooting. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing problems Perform water, sewer, drain, fixture, and piping repairs Repair and replace water heaters, faucets, toilets, disposals, and other plumbing fixtures Diagnose water leaks, sewer problems, stoppages, and plumbing system failures Complete plumbing installations and replacements according to applicable codes Provide customers with clear explanations of problems and recommended solutions Build and present repair and replacement options when appropriate Complete accurate job notes, photos, estimates, and documentation Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle Properly care for company tools and equipment Communicate with dispatch and management throughout the workday Follow company procedures, safety requirements, and plumbing codes Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing DrainGo Assist and train apprentices when assigned Participate in company meetings and ongoing technical training What We're Looking For Experienced Journeyman Plumber Strong residential and/or commercial service plumbing experience Ability to independently diagnose plumbing problems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of plumbing codes and proper installation practices Ability to communicate professionally with customers Comfortable explaining repair options and recommendations Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently while also being part of a team Willingness to learn and follow DrainGo's systems and procedures The Right Person for Our Team We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in doing the job correctly Treats customers and coworkers with respect Shows up when they say they will Doesn't cut corners Communicates when there's a problem Wants to continue improving their skills Understands that taking care of the customer is just as important as making the repair Wants to build a career with a growing company rather than simply find another job What We Offer Competitive compensation Consistent full-time work Company-provided service vehicle Fuel card Company phone Uniforms Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off Training and opportunities for advancement Support from an established office and dispatch team Opportunity to grow into Lead Technician, Service Manager, and other leadership positions Our Culture At DrainGo, we believe a successful company is built by good people who take care of their customers and each other.
