Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all plumbing tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints to determine layout of plumbing systems. Perform pipe threading, soldering, and assembly of various plumbing components. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople on remodeling projects involving plumbing work. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Qualifications Valid plumbing license or certification as required by local regulations. Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Experience in new construction is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members.
