Journeyman Plumber at Roto-Rooter Plumbers (Mobile and Baldwin Counties, AL) We're a locally owned, family operated company now in our third generation, and we're looking for a licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our plumbing crew. Here's what we stand on: we lead with integrity, we solve problems instead of passing them along, we treat people with kindness and respect, always, and we show up for our team and our customers on every call, every time. This isn't just service calls. You'll handle a real mix of residential, commercial, and industrial work: repipes, sewer line and sewer system replacements, washing machine line replacements, commercial water heaters, grinder pump and lift station installs and repairs, and plumbing on commercial and industrial job sites. You'll go out daily with a helper or two and run the job. Standard start is 6:45 AM, and the day runs until the job is done.

Pay:

$30 an hour to start for a licensed journeyman. Pay is based on experience and license and is discussed at hire.

Sign on bonus:

$1,000, paid after your first 90 days on the job.

What we provide:

a company service truck, take home once you're on the on call rotation, and power tools like drills and saws from day one, plus whatever bigger equipment a job calls for, including concrete saws, tractors, and trailers. Bring your own hand tools, standard in the trade. Overtime is a regular part of the job through call volume and the on call rotation, our current crew averages about 4 to 5 hours of overtime a week.

What we require:
