Skinner and Son LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Working Superintendent to oversee and actively participate in residential and light commercial construction projects. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage job sites while also performing skilled work in the field. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a background in plumbing or water mitigation , as this position involves inspecting, diagnosing, and addressing job scope in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily job site operations and ensure projects are completed on schedule Perform hands-on work as needed, including plumbing and/or water mitigation tasks Inspect projects, identify issues, and develop effective solutions in the field Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and office staff Ensure all work meets or exceeds code requirements and company standards Maintain job site cleanliness, safety, and organization Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding project progress Document job progress with photos and notes as required

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in construction, with strong preference for plumbing experience Experience in water mitigation is a plus Proven ability to manage job sites while working hands-on Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Knowledge of building codes and best practices Ability to read plans and execute work accordingly Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Skills:

Plumbing license or extensive field experience Water mitigation certifications (IICRC or similar) Experience in residential remodels and tenant improvements Leadership and team coordination experience
