Commercial Plumber - Subcontractor Sparkle Air & Plumbing is looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber / Plumbing Subcontractor to work with us on commercial service, repair, installation, and project-based plumbing work throughout the East Valley and greater Phoenix area . This is a 1099 subcontractor position , not an hourly employee position. We are looking for a reliable, experienced plumber who can take assigned jobs, work independently, communicate professionally with customers and our office, and complete work to a high standard. Responsibilities Perform commercial plumbing service, repairs, and installations Diagnose plumbing problems and recommend appropriate repairs Repair and replace water lines, drain lines, fixtures, valves, faucets, toilets, water heaters, and related plumbing components Perform commercial drain cleaning and troubleshooting Complete plumbing installations and modifications as required Read and understand work orders, plans, and job specifications when applicable Identify additional plumbing issues or needed repairs while on site Take before-and-after photos and provide clear job documentation Maintain a clean and professional work area Communicate job status, material needs, and unexpected conditions with our office Complete work according to applicable plumbing codes and professional standards Represent Sparkle Air & Plumbing professionally when working with customers, property managers, businesses, and commercial clients Subcontractor Requirements Applicants must have their own: Reliable work truck or van Plumbing tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned jobs Reliable transportation Smartphone for communication, photos, work orders, and job documentation Appropriate insurance and documentation required to perform subcontracted plumbing work Qualifications Commercial plumbing experience required Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with commercial service and repair work Ability to complete jobs independently with minimal supervision Knowledge of Arizona plumbing codes and standard industry practices Professional appearance and customer-service skills Strong communication and reliability Ability to provide clear job notes, photos, and material information Valid driver's license and clean/reliable transportation Ability to travel throughout the Phoenix metro area and East Valley Experience working with commercial properties, property management companies, retail locations, restaurants, offices, multifamily properties, and other commercial facilities is highly preferred. Compensation Subcontractor / 1099 - Paid Per Job / Piece Work Compensation is based on the scope and type of work performed rather than a traditional hourly wage. This structure provides the opportunity for experienced and efficient plumbers to earn more based on the jobs they complete. Specific pricing and compensation will be discussed based on experience and the type of work assigned.
