This role is ideal for candidates experienced in different commercial TI, Remodel or New Construction. We're looking for someone who values craftsmanship, professionalism, and teamwork - and who's excited to help shape high-quality projects across the Valley. Prior experience in commercial settings is highly valued. Hourly wage is DOE and the additional qualities the candidate can satisfyResponsibilities Install Underground, Topout and Trim stages of a Commercial Plumbing Scope Rough-in for final Install of commercial Kitchen and TI Fixtures. Interpret plumbing blueprints isometrics and site plans for precise system layouts. Undertakes safety guidelines and procedures for installing different systems Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other on-site trades. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Perform Pressure Tests on installed piping to pass inspections as needed Represent Northstar with professionalism and integrity. Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years of plumbing installation of commercial scopes Proficient in reading construction drawings Understanding of one or more of different System Layout and Code Requirements Skilled with hand tools, Threaders, Pipe Dope, Mega press, Fusion, Soldering or other methods of Joining/Installing Plastic Piping Systems for Gas Adept in Hanging piping systems in ceiling spaces using different engineered systems depending on structure type Worked with Carbon Steel, Copper, PEX ABS and other material types Experience in Testing Systems with Water and Compressed Air under differing conditions Final trim of Finish commercial Fixtures such as Wall Hung Sinks, Lavatories and Mixing Valves Quickly Detect, Diagnose and rectify any issues found during inspections Familiarity with trench safety and plumbing inspection requirements. Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to site cleanliness and quality workmanship. Self-motivated and eager to grow within a supportive team environment. Ability to perform labor works as required for the plumbing scope, including walking lifting and moving objects as needed Ability to daily commute to Jobsites in North Scottsdale and Paradise Valley with long drive times. (Company Truck is not included) Additional Qualities that are not required but are preferred for a higher compensation Ability to work with copper, carbon steel, PVC or PE pipe sizes 3" and above Experience in Hydronic Chilled Water Piping, Fittings Valve and Systems Welding Gas Pipe Certification and Experience for Larger Diameters Understanding of Backflow Prevention for non-potable systems Ability to perform a Material Takeoff and Order, Receive and Inventory Plumbing Materials for the Project.
