PLUMBING SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Signature Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is looking for an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. We are a fast-growing local company seeking a dependable, motivated professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Position Responsibilities The Plumbing Service Technician will diagnose, repair, maintain, replace, and install plumbing systems at residential and light-commercial properties. The technician will also complete plumbing inspections, troubleshoot system failures, recommend appropriate solutions, and perform smaller installation projects. Water-System Experience Applicants should have experience with: Tank and tankless water heaters Water softeners and filtration systems Hot and cold water-line repairs and replacements Plumbing-system inspections Leak detection and troubleshooting Diagnosing water-pressure, temperature, and performance issues Maintaining and upgrading residential and commercial water systems Soldering and making professional piping connections Drain and Sewer Experience Applicants should also be comfortable with: Cabling and clearing clogged drains Operating drain-cleaning equipment Performing camera inspections Identifying which drains or sections of the system are affected Diagnosing recurring drainage problems Recommending repair or replacement options based on inspection findings Additional Duties Repair, maintain, replace, and install plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings Complete work in compliance with local plumbing codes and company safety standards Use hand tools, power tools, cameras, drain cables, and other specialized plumbing equipment Perform plumbing modifications and upgrades during remodeling and renovation projects Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, recommendations, and parts used Add clear notes and supporting photographs to every invoice Communicate findings, repair options, and expectations professionally to customers Keep company vehicles, tools, and work areas clean and organized Qualifications Proven experience as a Plumbing Service Technician Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, repair, and installation skills Experience with water, drain, and sewer systems Knowledge of tank and tankless water heaters, water treatment equipment, and hot and cold water piping Proficiency in soldering, drain cleaning, and using hand and power tools Familiarity with local plumbing and building codes Strong customer-service and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and work in attics, basements, crawlspaces, confined spaces, and at heights when necessary Construction-site and remodeling experience is highly desirable Valid driver's license and clean driving record for operating company vehicles Willingness to participate in technical, customer-service, and sales training Willingness to support and buy into the company's vision, standards, and growth-focused culture Service Titan knowledge highly desired not required If you are an experienced plumber looking for an opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company that values and takes care of its employees, we would love to hear from you.
