The Role As our Plumber / Backflow Technician, you'll be the expert customers rely on for both plumbing solutions and backflow prevention compliance. You'll work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects, including work for property management companies—where no two days are the same. Your work will directly protect water quality, prevent contamination, and keep essential systems running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment. Perform certified backflow prevention testing, troubleshooting, and repairs in compliance with local and state regulations. Complete accurate inspection reports and maintain detailed service records. Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, from leaks and clogs to fixture replacements and system upgrades. Communicate clearly with customers, explaining findings and recommending solutions. Follow all safety protocols, plumbing codes, and company standards. Keep up to date with industry's best practices and new technologies. Qualifications Journeyman with proven plumbing experience (3+ years preferred). Current backflow prevention tester certification. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Schedule Monday-Friday, hours vary based on customer needs. Overtime and occasional weekend work are available. On-call availability for emergency service calls as needed.
