Role Overview:
Technician Plumbing Install (2025-1165) Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated Plumbing Install Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for installing residential and light commercial plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, and fixture installations. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. What You Bring 2-4 years of plumbing installation experience (residential or light commercial).
- Proficient in plumbing system layout, fixture installation, and pipefitting.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes, tools, and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Journeyman or apprentice plumbing license (as required by state/local regulations).
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Key Responsibilities Install, assemble, and test plumbing systems for new construction, remodels, and replacements.
- Layout, measure, cut, thread, and join pipe according to specifications and code requirements.
- Install water heaters, water softeners, fixtures, valves, and related equipment.
- Perform rough-in and finish plumbing for residential and light commercial projects.
- Ensure all installations comply with local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and job specifications to ensure accurate installation.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep tools and materials in good condition.
- Complete installation reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company with professionalism on every job site.
