Yes - Union Wages & Benefits Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our engineering and facilities team in Burbank, California. This is a full-time position working in a professional commercial facility environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with commercial plumbing systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. This position requires someone who can work independently, respond effectively to service requests, and maintain a high standard of workmanship and professionalism. This is a union job site and the position includes applicable union wages and benefits. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of commercial plumbing systems and equipment. Diagnose and repair issues involving water supply lines, drains, fixtures, valves, pumps, piping, and related plumbing components. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and routine inspections. Respond to plumbing service calls and facility maintenance requests. Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, faucets, toilets, sinks, valves, piping, and related equipment. Identify leaks, drainage problems, pressure issues, and other plumbing system deficiencies. Read and interpret plumbing drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications as needed. Coordinate with building engineers, management, vendors, and other trades when completing repairs or projects. Maintain accurate records of completed work and preventive maintenance activities. Follow applicable plumbing codes, OSHA requirements, site safety procedures, and company policies. Maintain clean and safe work areas and ensure tools and materials are properly maintained. Assist with emergency plumbing situations and other facility-related needs as required. Qualifications Journeyman-level plumbing experience required. Previous commercial, industrial, institutional, or large-facility plumbing experience strongly preferred. Experience working in a studio, campus, high-rise, or commercial facilities environment is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, valves, pumps, drainage systems, and preventive maintenance practices. Ability to read plans, schematics, and technical documentation. Ability to safely use plumbing tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to work independently while also collaborating with an engineering/facilities team. Strong communication, organization, and customer-service skills. Must be dependable, professional, and safety-conscious. Must meet applicable union requirements for the position.
