Full-Time About Us Elite Plumbing Pros is a growing plumbing company based in Burbank, California, and the sister company of Elite Fire Pros, Inc. , an established fire and life safety company serving commercial and residential properties throughout Southern California. As we build and expand our plumbing division, we are looking for an experienced Lead Plumber who can take ownership of plumbing service calls, diagnose problems confidently, perform quality repairs and installations, and help establish strong field standards as our team grows. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Plumber with strong hands-on knowledge of plumbing service, repair, troubleshooting, and installation. This position is ideal for a plumber who is comfortable independently diagnosing plumbing problems, determining appropriate repair solutions, identifying required materials, communicating with customers and office staff, and completing work professionally from start to finish. The Lead Plumber will perform service and repair work throughout Southern California and will be expected to take ownership of assigned jobs, maintain accurate documentation, and provide high-quality workmanship and customer service. As Elite Plumbing Pros continues to grow, this individual may also assist with leading plumbing helpers or technicians and establishing field procedures and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install plumbing systems and components. Perform commercial and residential plumbing service and repair work. Diagnose and repair water leaks, pipe failures, drainage problems, fixture issues, water pressure problems, and other plumbing deficiencies . Install, repair, and replace faucets, sinks, toilets, garbage disposals, valves, fixtures, and other plumbing components . Service, repair, replace, and install water heaters , as applicable. Perform drain cleaning, stoppage troubleshooting, and sewer/drain line repairs when required. Repair and replace water supply, waste, vent, and drainage piping . Identify the source of plumbing problems and determine appropriate repair recommendations. Inspect existing plumbing systems and identify deficiencies, damaged components, or conditions requiring repair. Read and interpret plans, diagrams, specifications, manufacturer instructions, and applicable plumbing requirements . Determine required materials, equipment, fittings, and parts for service calls and repair projects. Provide the office with accurate material lists and job information necessary for estimates and follow-up work. Maintain detailed service notes, photos, job documentation, repair recommendations, and material lists . Communicate findings and recommended repairs clearly and professionally to customers and the Elite Plumbing Pros team. Coordinate with dispatch, office staff, property managers, building engineers, vendors, inspectors, and other trades as necessary. Complete assigned jobs efficiently while maintaining high workmanship and safety standards. Assist with larger plumbing repairs, installations, replacements, and improvement projects. Lead plumbing helpers or less-experienced technicians on jobs when required. Help train and develop future plumbing technicians and helpers as the company grows. Follow applicable California Plumbing Code, local requirements, manufacturer specifications, and safety standards . Maintain company tools, equipment, materials, and assigned company vehicle. Maintain a clean and organized work area at customer properties. Represent Elite Plumbing Pros professionally while interacting with customers, property managers, building personnel, and other contractors. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of hands-on professional plumbing experience ; additional experience is strongly preferred for this lead position. Strong plumbing troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Experience performing service, repair, maintenance, and installation work . Experience diagnosing leaks, drainage issues, fixture problems, piping failures, and other common plumbing problems. Experience repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures, valves, piping, and related components. Experience with water heaters, drain systems, water supply systems, and waste/vent piping . Ability to independently diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate repair solutions. Ability to identify necessary materials, parts, fittings, and equipment required to complete a job. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, diagrams, and manufacturer documentation. Working knowledge of applicable California plumbing codes and safety requirements . Ability to communicate professionally with customers, property managers, building engineers, office staff, and other trades. Strong written documentation skills, including detailed service notes, photos, recommendations, and material lists. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned service calls. Ability and willingness to lead and train less-experienced plumbing technicians or helpers. Strong communication and customer service skills. Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record. Dependable, professional, organized, and safety-focused. Relevant plumbing licenses, certifications, or trade training are strongly preferred.
