Journeyman Plumber

Chet's Plumbing Co. has been providing superior plumbing services since 1983. We are looking for a qualified Service Plumber who can fill the role of a main service plumber. The objective of this role includes: Core plumbing responsibilities Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems (water, gas, drainage) Diagnosing complex plumbing issues and deciding on the best solution Reading blueprints and ensuring systems are installed to code Inspecting completed work to make sure it meets safety and quality standards Leadership and supervision Managing and directing a team of plumbers and apprentices Assigning tasks and making sure work is completed on schedule Stepping in to handle difficult or high-risk jobs Project coordination Ordering materials and ensuring the right tools are available Keeping projects within budget and minimizing delays Communicating progress to clients or project managers Compliance and safety Ensuring all work follows local building codes and regulations Enforcing safety procedures on job sites Handling permits and inspections when required Customer interaction Meeting with clients to explain issues, timelines, and costs Providing estimates and sometimes helping with bids Resolving complaints or unexpected problems professionally Administrative duties Maintaining records of work completed, materials used, and labor Reporting to upper management or business owners

REQUIRED

Minimum 10 years of plumbing experience Valid CA Driver's License Clean driving record Must pass back ground check Willing to work over time (if needed) Must have their own working tools

CSLB License Preferred Business Hours:

Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm Final pay will be determined upon experience.
