$20/hour base with task/performance-based earning opportunities About the Position We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Plumbing Service Technician who knows how to do more than just turn a wrench. This position is for a plumber who is sales-minded, customer-focused, and driven by results . You should be comfortable identifying plumbing concerns, educating customers, presenting solutions, asking for the business, and confidently closing work. Our technicians work in both residential and commercial environments , so we're looking for someone who can professionally represent our company with homeowners, property managers, business owners, and commercial clients. Conversion is a major focus of this role. We want technicians who take ownership of every opportunity and understand that great service and great sales go hand in hand. Our goal is never to pressure customers into unnecessary work. It's to thoroughly evaluate their plumbing system, communicate our findings, provide appropriate solutions, and give them the information and confidence they need to make the best decision. Our Sales & Service Process Our technicians are expected to create a professional, consistent customer experience on every call.
This includes:
Setting an agenda with the customer at the beginning of the visit so they understand what to expect and you understand their needs and priorities Asking questions and actively listening to uncover the customer's concerns Performing a thorough evaluation instead of focusing only on the immediate issue Clearly communicating findings and educating the customer Presenting Good, Better, Best options whenever appropriate, giving customers choices based on their needs, priorities, and budget Explaining the value and differences between each option Confidently asking for the business Professionally overcoming objections and answering questions Working toward completing or scheduling the work while you are with the customer Following up on unsold opportunities when the customer isn't ready to move forward immediately What You'll Do Diagnose residential and commercial plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions Perform plumbing service, repair, replacement, and installation work Create an agenda with customers at the beginning of each service call Conduct thorough plumbing evaluations and identify legitimate additional concerns and opportunities Build Good, Better, Best options and clearly present them to customers Educate customers on the condition of their plumbing systems and available solutions Build trust and deliver an exceptional customer experience Confidently ask for the business and work to close opportunities Follow up on unsold estimates and take ownership of your opportunities Maintain strong conversion, average ticket, and revenue performance Accurately document jobs, estimates, options, and customer communication Maintain professional workmanship, appearance, and communication Work with leadership when assistance is needed to overcome an objection or close an opportunity Provide professional service to homeowners, businesses, property managers, and commercial clients What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: An experienced service plumber Highly motivated by performance and earning potential Naturally comfortable with sales and customer conversations Competitive and goal-oriented Focused on achieving and maintaining strong conversion Comfortable presenting Good, Better, Best options Confident asking customers for the business Able to explain technical plumbing issues in a way customers can easily understand Accountable for their numbers and individual performance Coachable and open to sales training, feedback, and performance coaching Professional, dependable, and customer-focused Able to balance excellent workmanship with excellent communication and sales ability Comfortable working in both residential and commercial environments Experienced with ServiceTitan or similar field-service software; ServiceTitan experience is strongly preferred What Success Looks Like Success in this position isn't measured only by how many calls you run. Base Rate:
$20/hour. Task/performance-based pay structure .
Expected Earning Range:
$80,000-$200,000+ annually , depending on individual production and performance. The Person We're Looking For You don't wait for someone else to close your jobs. You build relationships.
