Job Description
Experienced Plumber - Leak Detection & Repair USA Leak Detector is hiring an experienced plumber to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, skilled, and professional plumber with a minimum of 10 years of plumbing experience who can confidently diagnose plumbing issues, communicate with customers, prepare estimates, and complete repair work. Job Responsibilities Travel to residential and commercial job sites throughout the service area. Diagnose plumbing issues, including: Water leaks Slab leaks Underground water line leaks Hot and cold water supply line leaks Irrigation leaks Drain and sewer line issues Fixture and valve problems Review leak detection findings and determine the appropriate repair method. Inspect plumbing systems and identify damaged, deteriorated, or compromised piping. Communicate findings clearly and professionally with customers, property managers, contractors, and maintenance personnel. Prepare accurate estimates for plumbing repairs and recommended work. Explain repair options, scope of work, and potential additional work to customers. Perform plumbing repairs independently or as part of a crew. Complete work such as spot repairs, pipe replacements, reroutes, shut-off valve installations, fixture repairs, and other plumbing-related work. Coordinate with the office and management regarding job progress, materials, scheduling, and additional work needed. Take clear photos and document job conditions and completed repairs. Test and verify all completed repairs before leaving the job site. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Follow all applicable plumbing codes and safety procedures. Provide excellent customer service and represent USA Leak Detector professionally at all times. Requirements Minimum 10 years of professional plumbing experience required. Strong experience with residential and commercial plumbing systems. Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems. Experience performing water line repairs, pipe replacements, reroutes, and fixture repairs. Ability to create and explain repair estimates. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Ability to lift equipment and materials and perform physical work, including digging, crawling, and working in confined spaces when necessary. Plumbing license is preferred but not required depending on qualifications and scope of work. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who does more than just complete plumbing repairs.
