Responsibilities Diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing systems: water lines, drains, fixtures, gas lines and water heaters. Installing and replacing water heaters, including tankless systems. Performing a thorough plumbing inspection on every call and documenting what you find. Walking the homeowner through their repair options in plain language so they can make a confident decision. Turning estimates into completed work by building trust, not pressure. Completing all work to California Plumbing Code. Keeping jobs, notes, photos and invoices current in Housecall Pro. Managing your truck stock and materials responsibly. Taking a turn in the after-hours on-call rotation, with extra pay for each qualifying call. What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in residential service plumbing, running your own calls. Working knowledge of the California Plumbing Code.
Strong troubleshooting skills:
you find the cause, not just the symptom. Clear, friendly communication with homeowners, including presenting options and pricing. Comfort with field software on a phone or tablet. Housecall Pro experience is a plus. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license. Hard work, dedication, drive and a willingness to keep learning.
Nice to have:
tankless water heater installs drain camera and locator experience experience training apprentices.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 45.0 per week
