In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Duties Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, gas piping systems, and drainage in new construction and existing structures. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing projects. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components efficiently. Ensure all work adheres to local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for quality and safety. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems to ensure optimal operation; troubleshoot issues using technical schematics and basic math skills. Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, electricians, and project managers to coordinate installation schedules on construction sites. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, repair logs, and compliance records. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about project status or system issues during field service or remodeling projects. Requirements Proven construction site experience with residential and commercial plumbing projects. Strong knowledge of plumbing system maintenance, repair procedures, and building code compliance. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and schematics related to plumbing systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Familiarity with gas piping systems installation and repair is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically fit to handle demanding tasks on construction sites. Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction plumbing work; commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Valid driver's license with ability for site travel or material transport. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members alike.
