What You'll Do As a Plumbing Installer, you'll be responsible for completing residential plumbing installations, replacements, remodels, and larger plumbing projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on position for an experienced plumber who can read the job, plan the work, identify what is needed, and complete installations efficiently and to code without constant supervision. You'll represent Cali Vibes Plumbing in our customers' homes, so we're looking for someone who cares just as much about the quality of the finished job as they do about keeping the workspace clean and treating the customer and their home with respect.

Daily responsibilities include:

Diagnose residential plumbing issues accurately Perform plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations Troubleshoot drain, sewer, water, and gas systems Explain findings and repair optioComplete residential plumbing installations, replacements, and remodel work Install and replace water heaters, including tankless systems Complete whole-home and partial repipes Install and replace water, sewer, drain, waste, vent, and gas piping Perform plumbing rough-ins and finish plumbing for bathroom, kitchen, and other residential remodels Install toilets, faucets, sinks, shower valves, tubs, disposals, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment Install water filtration and conditioning systems Complete sewer and water line replacements and repairs Properly size, route, support, connect, test, and inspect piping systems Read job scopes, plans, specifications, and manufacturer requirements as applicable Identify materials, fittings, equipment, and tools needed to complete each installation Complete installations according to California plumbing codes, manufacturer specifications, and Cali Vibes Plumbing standards Test completed work and verify proper operation before leaving the job Protect customers' homes and maintain a clean, organized jobsite throughout the project Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding the work being completed Document completed work with job notes, photos, and other required information Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle Follow all company safety procedures and plumbing codes Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and management regarding job progress, material needs, scheduling, and any unexpected conditions Work closely with the Cali Vibes team to keep projects moving efficiently and deliver an exceptional customer experience Installations You'll Perform Our installers regularly work on: Water heater replacements and installations Tankless water heater installations Whole-home and partial repipes Water service lines Sewer line repairs and replacements Drain, waste, and vent piping Gas line installations and replacements Bathroom remodel plumbing Kitchen remodel plumbing Shower and tub plumbing Plumbing rough-ins Fixture and finish plumbing Toilets, faucets, sinks, disposals, and other fixtures Water filtration and conditioning systems Pressure regulators Shut-off valves Residential plumbing upgrades and replacements Other residential plumbing installation projects What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work—not someone who simply wants to collect a paycheck.

Qualifications Required:

Minimum 4 years of professional plumbing experience Residential plumbing installation experience Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems Ability to complete installations independently Strong understanding of proper installation practices and plumbing codes Ability to use tablets or smartphones for work orders, photos, and job documentation Ability to lift 75+ pounds Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, rooftops, trenches, and varying weather conditions Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Plumbing certifications are a plus but are not required for the right candidate.
