Maintenance Technician (2 years+ handyman/plumbing/electrical experience required)

GLS Building, LLC has a legacy of developing the assets and created a full-service operation of managing real estate for over 50+ years. Owner/property manager of apartments and commercial buildings in the South Bay area (Torrance, Lomita, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach & Gardena) looking for a skilled and experienced maintenance person to handle the daily repairs and maintenance needs of the company. Candidate MUST possess a positive can-do attitude, work well with people and have great customer service skills. Candidate must be responsible and able to do quality work with minimal supervision, always keeping our tenants happy. Must be able to use a computer, smart phone, text and email. Must speak English. Proof of driver's license, S.S. & insurance required. Own transportation required (van or truck is a MUST). Own tools a must. This position is full time, Monday -Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm. Gas allowance, vacation, health benefits and sick leave included.

MUST LIVE LOCALLY

(Torrance, Lomita, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Gardena, Inglewood, and Long Beach). Some of the duties include, but not limited to: Conduct preventative maintenance on the properties or within the units Repair doors, door hardware, window screens, and other general building items Interior unit touch-up Maintain accurate record of daily maintenance records and action items Interact with tenants and vendors in a professional manner Provide exceptional customer service to the team and residents Communicate in a timely and effective manner Complete emergency and routine service requests Apartment turnovers make ready tasks to assist in the preparation of vacant units for new move-ins. Utilize computer, tablet and smart phone software and applications (AppFolio) Installing appliances & garbage disposals Drywall/ painting repairs Plumbing repairs Basic electrical repairs If you possess a hardworking & positive attitude, we would love to hear from you!
