Audio Visual Technician

As a "Full Service" audio visual provider, we specialize in the service, sales, and rentals of equipment typically found in the hotel environment for corporate meetings, conventions, and seminars.

Job Overview:

Oversee all audio visual equipment through set-up, troubleshooting, operation, and strike. Be knowledgeable on new and innovative technology and search for ways to utilize them. Help our customers reach their education and training goals by providing technology to enhance their events. Comfortable interacting with customers and have outstanding interpersonal skills. Instruct clients on correct usage of equipment. Work well individually and with a team.

Operations Management:

Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure the timely set up, refresh and removal of equipment. Performs daily floor management including directing the workflow of technicians and assisting management with labor needs and scheduling. Ensures the equipment sheets are updated and properly completed. Works with team to establish coordinated communications for the management of events. Attends BEO meetings as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, crawl under tables. This job can have physical demands.

Required experience:

Must have good computer skills and take a proactive approach to problem solving Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. 2+ years of Customer service or hospitality experience is preferred. Minimum of 1+ years of audio visual industry experience preferred. A valid driver's license is required, Clean driving record is required when operating Company vehicles.
