Job Description Evolve Plumbing LLC is a growing, family-owned plumbing company serving the Denver metro area. We are looking for an experienced Service Plumber / Journeyman Plumber who can independently handle residential and light commercial plumbing work on a flexible, part-time basis. This is a part-time, variable-schedule position . Our workload changes from week to week, so hours are not guaranteed. We expect approximately 8-20 hours per week , with the possibility of additional hours as our workload grows. This position is ideal for an experienced plumber who already knows the trade, can diagnose and complete common plumbing jobs with minimal supervision, and is looking for additional work without needing a guaranteed 40-hour schedule. For the right person, this could grow into a much larger role with Evolve Plumbing over the coming months. What You'll Do You may be assigned plumbing jobs that you are expected to evaluate and complete independently, including: Residential service and repair calls Toilet, faucet, sink, and fixture repairs and replacements Water heater repairs and installations Water supply piping repairs Drain and waste piping repairs Leak diagnosis and repair Shutoff valve replacements Pressure-related plumbing issues Backflow-related work Remodel and finish plumbing Troubleshooting residential plumbing systems Light commercial plumbing work Jobsite documentation and photos Communicating professionally with customers Maintaining a clean and professional work area Depending on the project, you may work independently or alongside one of Evolve Plumbing's owners or other team members. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who already has meaningful plumbing experience and is comfortable taking responsibility for a job from start to finish.

Ideal candidates will have:

Several years of plumbing experience Strong residential service plumbing knowledge Ability to diagnose plumbing problems independently Experience completing repairs and installations without constant supervision Good knowledge of plumbing tools, fittings, materials, and common plumbing systems Professional customer communication skills Strong attention to workmanship and cleanliness Ability to document work and communicate job findings clearly Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependability and good communication A Colorado Journeyman Plumber license is preferred , but experienced service plumbers with demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and complete plumbing work are encouraged to apply. Experience with commercial plumbing, backflow systems, water heaters, remodel work, permitting, or inspections is a plus. Schedule This is a part-time position with variable hours based on scheduled projects and service calls . Typical workload is expected to be approximately 8-20 hours per week , although some weeks may have fewer hours and others may have more. There is currently no guaranteed minimum number of weekly hours . This is a part-time, variable-schedule position. Weekly hours are based on Evolve Plumbing's available workload and are not guaranteed. Some weeks may include no scheduled work. The employee remains employed by Evolve Plumbing unless either party ends the employment relationship. We will provide as much advance scheduling notice as possible, although occasional short-notice service opportunities may be available. This position may be a good fit for someone who: Already has another flexible source of work Wants supplemental plumbing work Is semi-retired but still wants to work in the trade Is transitioning between companies Prefers flexibility over a traditional 40-hour schedule Wants to join a growing company with the possibility of taking on a larger role over time Pay $30-$40 per hour , depending on experience, licensing, and ability to independently complete service work. Starting pay and future increases will be based on experience, performance, reliability, licensing, and ability to take responsibility for assigned jobs.
