  • 45 per hour + performance bonus opportunities Position Summary Mountain Valley Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is hiring an experienced Residential Service Plumber to perform plumbing service, repair, and installation work in our customers' homes.
This position is designed for a developing plumber who has approximately two years of plumbing experience or at least 4,000 apprenticeship hours and is ready to handle standard residential service calls with increasing independence. You do not need to be a licensed Journeyman Plumber for this position. This is an opportunity to continue developing your technical skills while building toward becoming a senior plumber, licensed plumber, or future trade leader. What You'll Do Perform standard residential plumbing service and repair calls Diagnose common residential plumbing problems Repair and replace plumbing fixtures and components Perform plumbing installation work Assist with larger installation projects when needed Communicate repair and replacement options clearly to homeowners Recognize situations that require assistance from a more experienced plumber Identify larger plumbing opportunities and involve the appropriate team member when necessary Maintain accurate job documentation Maintain a clean and professional work vehicle and jobsite Follow Mountain Valley service and installation standards Deliver an excellent customer experience Continue developing your technical and diagnostic abilities What We're Looking For Required Approximately 2+ years of plumbing experience or 4,000 plumbing apprenticeship hours Registered plumbing apprentice Experience performing residential plumbing work Ability to complete common residential plumbing repairs Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to perform the physical requirements of residential plumbing work Willingness to learn and accept coaching Preferred Residential service experience Water heater installation and service experience Drain and sewer experience Experience with larger residential plumbing installations Experience presenting customers with repair and replacement options What Success Looks Like A successful
