Position Summary:
The Plumbing Service Technician is the primary technical service contact for residential customers and serves as a professional ambassador for Royal Services Plumbing. The Technician will provide a comprehensive diagnosis of a plumbing project with each customer and present service options based on scope and cost. Upon approval, the Technician will perform plumbing services requested in a professional and quality fashion. The Technician must be goal-oriented, organized, professional, self-starting, energetic, technically proficient and have a genuine empathy for customers and a commitment to ongoing skill development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to residential service calls as assigned Establish rapport with each customer through the exploration and maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all time. Diagnose customer plumbing issues to include what the customer called us out for and report findings discovered through investigation that support the customer over the long term Understand company pricing structures and calculate upfront pricing on plumbing service options Prepare comprehensive and professional service proposals for customer review and present options to customer for approval Must be prepared to complete the approved work on the same day Must ensure that all plumbing work is completed with quality craftsmanship and in compliance Ensure that the work are is cleaner then when yo started Perform a thorough walk through with customer to ensure 100% satisfaction Collect payment for service upon completion of the work
Knowledge and Skills:
Proven ability to understand residential plumbing services Proven ability to work in a customer service environment Strong interpersonal skills Experience with pricing structures and preparing written proposals Proven work ethic Professional appearance and demeanor Proven ability to be a team player Proven ability to communicate across varied communication styles, and in stressful conditions Proven ability to prioritize and organize Ability to use technology across multiple platforms and applications
Requirements:
Hold a State of CO Journeyman's License Minimum of 3 years of experience providing residential plumbing services Clear driving record High School diploma or GED preferred
