JOB SUMMARY
United Concrete Products is seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed P2 Plumber to join our Building Group Division . In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting plumbing systems related to the production of prefabricated precast concrete buildings . We are a family-owned precast concrete company specializing in the design and manufacturing of prefabricated precast concrete buildings , and we take pride in delivering high-quality, durable solutions across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Install and assemble plumbing systems within prefabricated precast concrete building structures Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation Coordinate plumbing layout and rough-in work during the production process Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems as needed Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet project specifications and deadlines Ensure all work complies with Connecticut plumbing codes and applicable regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards Qualifications Valid Connecticut P2 Plumbing License (Journeyman) required 3+ years of plumbing experience (commercial, industrial, or prefab/modular construction preferred) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices Experience with prefabrication or modular construction is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in a production/manufacturing environment Comfortable working both indoors and in varying shop conditions What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent full-time hours with overtime opportunities Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision) 401(k) with company match Stable, long-term employment with a growing, family-owned compa
