Service Plumber - Experienced About the Position Plumbing Ahead is looking for an experienced, dependable Service Plumber to join our team. We are looking for someone who can confidently diagnose plumbing problems, determine the appropriate repair, and complete quality work with minimal supervision. This is not an entry-level/helper position. Applicants should have at least 3 years of hands-on service plumbing experience and be comfortable working directly with customers. Technicians meet in Davenport, FL before dispatching to scheduled service calls. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and commercial plumbing issues Repair leaks, clogs, damaged piping, toilets, faucets, fixtures, and other plumbing systems Perform drain cleaning and troubleshoot drainage problems Install and replace faucets, toilets, sinks, garbage disposals, and other plumbing fixtures Diagnose, service, repair, and replace water heaters Identify the cause of plumbing problems and recommend appropriate solutions Complete service calls independently and efficiently Maintain a clean and safe work area Communicate professionally with customers and explain repairs and recommendations clearly Properly operate and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles Follow applicable plumbing codes and company safety procedures Meet in Davenport prior to dispatch for assigned service calls Requirements Minimum 3 years of hands-on service plumbing experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience with residential plumbing repairs and service calls Experience with drain cleaning, fixture installation/replacement, and water heaters Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle Dependable and punctual Professional appearance and communication skills Strong customer-service skills Ability to perform the physical duties associated with plumbing work Pay $20-$38 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skill level. Starting pay will be determined based on the applicant's plumbing knowledge, experience, and ability to independently perform service work. Schedule & Location This is an in-person service plumbing position. Technicians meet in Davenport, Florida and dispatch to customer locations throughout the company's service area.
