We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and professional plumber who can independently manage a service call from start to finish. Most of our work is residential service plumbing and emergency calls, including leaks, drain issues, water heaters, fixtures, diagnostics, repairs, and replacements. We also perform occasional commercial service work. This is a customer facing position! We need someone who is technically strong, communicates well with customers and our office, and is comfortable working independently with our price book, estimates, invoices, and Field Service Management system. Responsibilities Run residential service and emergency plumbing calls independently Handle occasional commercial service calls Diagnose plumbing problems accurately and determine appropriate solutions Perform leak repairs, drain cleaning, water heater work, fixture repairs, replacements, and general plumbing service Present repair and replacement options clearly to customers Work independently from the company price book Create accurate estimates and invoices Use our Field Service Management (FSM) software throughout the job Properly document labor, materials, job notes, and customer approvals Upload before-and-after photos and other required job documentation Collect payment and properly close out each job Maintain clear communication with the office regarding job status, scheduling, additional work, parts, and customer concerns Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area Represent the company professionally in customers' homes and businesses Qualifications Previous service plumbing experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to handle most plumbing service calls without constant supervision Experience using Field Service Management software Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet throughout the workday Ability to independently use a company price book Ability to prepare professional estimates and invoices Strong communication with customers and office staff Comfortable explaining plumbing problems and presenting repair options Good organizational and job documentation skills Comfortable responding to emergency plumbing calls Professional appearance and attitude Reliable and accountable Valid driver's license Clean driving history required Clean background check required Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and driving record review What We Offer Full-time W-2 employment Competitive hourly pay Company vehicle Consistent service and emergency calls Established company price book and operating systems Modern Field Service Management software Support from a Master Plumber with 30+ years of experience Opportunity for performance based growth and increased responsibility Long term opportunity with a growing plumbing company Schedule Full-time position, primarily Monday through Friday. Who We're Looking For We are looking for a service plumber who can take ownership of the entire call. You should be able to receive the job through our FSM system, arrive on time, diagnose the problem, communicate with the customer, use our price book to build options, prepare the estimate, get customer approval, complete quality work, create the invoice, collect payment, document the job, and communicate the final status back to the office. We do not want someone who needs constant supervision. At the same time, communication with the office is extremely important. We want someone who keeps the team informed, follows company procedures, and understands that good communication is part of providing great service.
