Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plumber with at least five years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing regulations, and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling and ongoing maintenance, contributing to safe and efficient plumbing solutions that meet client needs. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with construction plans and blueprints. Read and interpret schematics, construction plans, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repairs. Perform pipe threading, pipe fitting, welding, and use of hand tools and power tools to complete plumbing tasks efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, gas piping systems regulations, and safety regulations. Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate plumbing installation within larger project timelines. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and adhere to safety protocols during all activities. Assist with remodeling projects or handyman tasks requiring plumbing expertise as needed. Operate heavy lifting equipment safely when handling large pipes or fixtures on construction sites. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work progress and solutions. Experience Minimum of five years of construction experience specializing in plumbing installation and repair. Proven ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Hands-on experience with welding techniques related to plumbing systems. Knowledge of plumbing building codes, local regulations, and safety standards applicable to residential and commercial projects. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge including gas piping systems, pipe threading, pipe installation, and system maintenance. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on commercial plumbing projects or large-scale renovations. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, threaders; power tools; and heavy lifting equipment. Strong understanding of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices for ongoing system upkeep. Ability to read technical schematics accurately while applying basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Valid commercial driver's license preferred for transporting materials or equipment between sites.
