JP's Water Co. — Panama City / Bay County, Florida Job Overview JP's Water Co. is looking for an experienced, dependable Lead Water Treatment Installer to join our growing team. This is not a helper position. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for an installation, work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and make sure every system is installed cleanly and correctly. Our work includes whole-home water softeners, carbon filtration systems, sediment filtration, UV systems, reverse osmosis systems, well-water treatment equipment, and related plumbing. We value skilled work and are looking for someone who wants to grow with a local, owner-operated company. Responsibilities Install whole-home water softeners, filtration systems, carbon tanks, UV systems, reverse osmosis systems, and other water treatment equipment Complete installations primarily using 1" PVC and PEX Pick up equipment, parts, and supplies from our Callaway storage location as needed Travel to customer homes throughout Panama City, Bay County, and surrounding Florida Panhandle areas Determine proper equipment placement and plumbing routes at the job site Cut, route, connect, and secure water lines professionally Install drain lines, bypass valves, shutoffs, filters, tanks, and related components Start up and program water treatment equipment Check every installation for leaks, proper flow, pressure, and correct operation Troubleshoot and correct installation or equipment issues when necessary Maintain a clean and professional work area inside and outside the customer's home Take completed installation photos and document work performed Explain basic system operation and maintenance to customers Keep tools, equipment, parts, and storage areas organized Provide professional and respectful customer service on every job Help with additional installation, service, or warehouse-related work when needed Experience & Qualifications Previous plumbing, water treatment, mechanical, construction, or installation experience strongly preferred Experience installing water softeners or filtration equipment is a major plus Comfortable working with PVC, PEX, fittings, valves, and residential plumbing Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Able to complete clean, professional installations without constant supervision Comfortable using power tools and standard plumbing/installation tools Able to lift and move water treatment equipment and media tanks Reliable transportation and a dependable pickup/work truck Valid driver's license and good driving record Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional Must take pride in workmanship and treating customers' homes with respect What We're Looking For We want someone we can hand an installation to and trust that the job will be done correctly, cleanly, and professionally.
