Duties:
- Must be knowledgeable in the plumbing trade.
- Plumbers need to be able to effectively communicate with customers in order to diagnose problems and explain solutions.
- Complete plumbing jobs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Clear clogged drains using a variety of tools, including plungers, snakes, and hydro-jet tools.
- Skill knowledge includes, but is not limited to, water heater repair/change out, faucet installation, toilet repairs or replacement, shower valve change outs, leak repairs, slab leak repairs, fixture repairs, , shut off valve change-outs, and kitchen and bath disconnect and reconnects.
- Service Plumbers are responsible for installing and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings. They work with various materials, including copper, galvanized steel, PVC and cast iron.
- Maintaining the service truck, which will include washing and stocking, reporting to the shop when requested, collecting payments from customers, reporting to the office, and contacting homeowners when on the way to job sites.
