Job Description
Job Summary Green Basements & Remodeling is seeking an experienced, dependable full-time plumber to join our team. This position will focus on plumbing installations, repairs, and modifications for residential remodeling projects throughout the Atlanta metro area. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works efficiently, communicates professionally, and can complete plumbing work in accordance with applicable codes and our company's quality standards. Our office and warehouse is based in Marietta GA. Responsibilities Install, repair, replace, and modify residential plumbing systems Complete plumbing work for basements, kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home renovations Install and relocate water supply lines, drain lines, waste lines, and vent piping Install toilets, sinks, faucets, tubs, showers, disposals, dishwashers, ice-maker lines, and other plumbing fixtures Complete plumbing rough-ins and final fixture installations Install and replace water heaters and related components Diagnose leaks, drainage issues, water-pressure problems, and other plumbing concerns Perform testing to confirm plumbing systems are functioning properly and are free of leaks Read and follow construction plans, specifications, and project scopes Coordinate work with project managers, inspectors, homeowners, and other trades Identify code, framing, access, or existing-condition issues and report them promptly Protect finished surfaces and maintain a clean, organized jobsite Properly maintain company tools, equipment, materials, and vehicles Complete assigned work according to project schedules Follow all company policies, building codes, permit requirements, and jobsite safety procedures Document completed work and provide progress photos when required Qualifications At least 3 years of professional residential plumbing experience preferred Strong experience with residential remodeling and renovation plumbing Knowledge of water distribution, drainage, waste, and vent systems Experience with PEX, copper, PVC, CPVC, cast iron, and other common residential plumbing materials Ability to complete both plumbing rough-in and finish work Ability to diagnose problems and develop practical solutions Ability to read plans, measurements, and plumbing layouts Familiarity with applicable residential plumbing codes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and able to meet project schedules Strong attention to detail and quality Professional appearance and respectful demeanor Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in crawlspaces, attics, and other confined areas Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Georgia plumbing license or plumbing certification is preferred but not required, depending on experience Schedule Full-time position Monday through Friday Occasional additional hours may be required depending on project schedules Compensation Competitive pay based on experience, licensing, skill level, and demonstrated workmanship.
