Join us at Lincoln Tech! We're looking for an experienced Financial Aid Advisor - Continuing Students to join our team and help students navigate their financial aid journey. Make a meaningful impact by ensuring students have the financial support they need to complete their education and achieve their career goals!
Key Requirements for Financial Aid Advisor - Continuing Students Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Minimum 3 years of experience working with Title IV programs
Extensive knowledge of all Title IV programs and regulations
Experience with nonterm and/or clock hour academic calendars
Proficient in financial aid packaging and award creation
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Must be eligible to obtain and retain Federal Student Aid access (COD and NSLDS)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook
Campus Nexus software experience preferred Key Responsibilities for Financial Aid Advisor•Continuing Students Conduct financial aid appointments with active and temporary out students and their families
Perform student account analysis for repack reviews and graduation audits
Package students for subsequent academic years, crossovers, and course failures
Create accurate financial aid award packages and collect necessary documentation
Provide students with accurate information regarding eligibility for federal, state, or alternative financing
Assist students and families with balance resolution options
Facilitate financial aid exit presentations for graduating students
Support outreach campaigns to encourage timely completion of financial aid forms and renewals
Engage confidently with students in various settings, including classroom and auditorium presentations
Maintain accurate records and update notes in the financial aid operating system Full-Time Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision
