Responsibilities Assist lead plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and assembly using hand tools and power tools Support the setup and operation of plumbing systems according to blueprints and technical drawings Help with pipe threading, cutting, and fitting to ensure precise installation Maintain safety protocols by adhering to site safety guidelines and proper power tool handling procedures Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems during construction or remodeling projects Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to assist in accurate pipe placement and system layout Contribute to site cleanup, organization of tools, and ensuring a safe work environment at all times Skills Construction experience with a focus on plumbing or related trades Knowledge of construction plumbing systems, pipe installation, and remodeling techniques Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing components and system maintenance Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations Strong understanding of building code compliance and safety protocols on construction sites Customer service skills for effective communication with team members and clients when needed Experience with plumbing system maintenance, repair tasks, and troubleshooting issues Familiarity with safety procedures including power tool safety practices This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in construction plumbing while contributing to impactful projects.
