The ideal candidate must hold an active Iowa Master Plumber license.
POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a permanent, full-time Iowa Master Plumber to help build and lead our developing plumbing operation. This is not a license-only or qualifying-master position. We are looking for an experienced plumbing professional who can combine field credibility with leadership, employee development, estimating/project support, customer relationships, and the operating discipline needed to develop a durable plumbing business. What You'll Help Build and Lead Provide the Iowa Master Plumber credential and responsible licensed leadership required for plumbing operations. Help develop plumbing service and installation capabilities, standards, workflows, pricing, and operating processes. Lead, coach, and develop plumbers, apprentices, and future field leaders. Remain sufficiently engaged in field operations to support quality, troubleshooting, training, and successful project execution. Support residential and commercial plumbing service, installation, replacement, and new-construction work as the business develops. Assist with estimating, scope review, project planning, job costing, material/equipment planning, and change-order identification. Help establish installation, safety, documentation, inspection, code-compliance, and quality-control standards. Coordinate effectively with leadership, office operations, warehouse/fleet, HVAC field teams, customers, builders, contractors, inspectors, and vendors. Help recruit and evaluate plumbing talent as the department grows. Support customer relationships and business-development opportunities that create sustainable plumbing revenue. Use systems and reporting to improve visibility into workload, labor, job status, billing readiness, and operating performance.
