Owner Position Summary We are looking for a dependable, experienced Licensed Skilled Plumber to join Doug's Plumbing & Heating, Inc.

This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining residential plumbing systems while providing professional, courteous service to our customers. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in residential plumbing, takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently and safely, and is comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Perform residential plumbing installations, repairs, replacements, and maintenance. Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair or replacement solutions. Install and repair water supply, drainage, waste, and vent systems. Install and service water heaters, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, sump pumps, and other residential plumbing fixtures and equipment. Perform sewer and drain cleaning and troubleshooting as needed. Read and interpret plumbing plans, diagrams, and specifications. Identify leaks and perform necessary repairs. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and company standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding plumbing issues, recommended repairs, and completed work. Provide accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and recommendations. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Provide a high level of customer service and represent the company professionally at all times. Qualifications Valid plumbing license recommended. Willing to train the right candidate Previous residential plumbing experience recommended. Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and applicable plumbing codes. Ability to diagnose plumbing problems and efficiently determine solutions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable driving record. Ability to lift equipment and materials and perform physically demanding work. Ability to work in various residential environments and conditions.
