Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation requirements. Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive project completion. Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed during installations or repairs. Adhere to safety regulations and building codes while performing all tasks. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and tools. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics for accurate installation. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials or equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Plumbing License is not required but is preferred.
