Job Description

Plumbing Technician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumbing Technician to join our team. This is a commission-driven position with the opportunity to earn additional monthly bonuses based on performance. The ideal candidate will have experience with residential and/or commercial plumbing and be comfortable performing installations, repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service work. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, professionalism, excellent customer service, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Responsibilities Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial plumbing systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions. Perform field service calls for plumbing repairs and troubleshooting. Collaborate with contractors and other trades on remodeling and construction projects. Read and interpret plumbing plans, schematics, and layouts. Install, repair, and maintain piping, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components. Safely operate hand and power tools, including tools used for pipe threading and cutting. Perform drain cleaning and clearing services when needed. Identify opportunities to recommend appropriate plumbing solutions and services to customers. Provide professional and knowledgeable customer service while clearly explaining recommended repairs and options. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members. Follow company safety procedures, plumbing codes, and industry standards. Lift and carry materials and equipment as required to complete assigned work. Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems and service practices. Ability to troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems effectively. Proficiency with common plumbing hand and power tools. Ability to read and understand plumbing plans and schematics. Experience with residential and commercial plumbing is preferred. Remodeling experience is a plus. Drain cleaning experience is a plus. Valid driver's license is required. Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment as needed. Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a performance-based environment.

$24.00 - $34.00 per hour
