Maintenance Supervisor Garden City, ID | Full-Time | Non-Exempt About the
Role:
We are is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the physical maintenance and operations of a residential property. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on maintenance experience, and a proactive approach to ensuring property safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and train maintenance staff Oversee maintenance of buildings, grounds, and common areas Perform daily property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and upgrades Manage inventory and ordering of maintenance supplies Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and equipment warranties Participate in emergency on-call rotation (evenings, weekends, holidays) Maintain organization of tools, equipment, and maintenance records Complete and audit service request orders in a timely and accurate manner Understand location and operation of all utility shut-offs
Qualifications:
3+ years of relevant maintenance experience Technical training or 2-year college/trade school equivalent preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and multi-task effectively Proficient in basic computer and administrative tasks Able to lift/move up to 150 lbs with assistance Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (some local travel required)
Work Environment:
This role involves both indoor and outdoor work. You may encounter moderate to loud noise levels and use power tools and heavy equipment. Physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting, and operating machinery, is required regularly.
