Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems
• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
• Perform pipe threading and cutting as needed
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and HVAC technicians, to complete remodeling or construction projects
• Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues
• Maintain accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

• Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber license or equivalent certification
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of plumbing systems
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and pipe sizing
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in pipe threading, cutting, and assembly
• Familiarity with carpentry principles is a plus
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
