This field-based role covers the Central Chicagoland region, with regular monthly gatherings held in Naperville, IL. Your Impact:

Core Responsibilities:

Identify and resolve residential plumbing system issues. Execute urgent plumbing repairs with speed and precision. Install, maintain, and replace water heaters. Service and install sump pumps and sewage ejector systems. Repair and replace toilets. Handle faucet installations and repairs. Manage sink and basin replacements. Perform bathtub installations and repairs. Maintain and replace water supply lines. Service and replace drain piping. Install and maintain natural gas lines. Repair and service radiator valves and traps. Conduct steam line maintenance and rerouting to ensure system efficiency. Maintain and repair storm and sewer infrastructure to protect property integrity. Verify the safety of gas piping systems by testing for leaks. Analyze and utilize plumbing and mechanical blueprints. Procure necessary parts and supplies for upcoming jobs. Support the growth of the team by mentoring plumbing apprentices. Maintain precise inventory records and assist with regular stock counts. Optimize your daily route to improve overall service productivity. Provide exceptional customer service to build lasting client relationships. Adhere to all safety protocols to help maintain a secure working environment for the entire team.

Required Qualifications:

Possession of an active Illinois Journeyman Plumber License. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Journeyman Plumber. A valid driver's license paired with a clean driving history. Proficiency in brazing and soldering techniques. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities. Superior communication and client-facing skills. Proven ability to operate independently with minimal oversight. Strong organizational and time management proficiencies. Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and navigate various residential settings.
