In this role, you will support a licensed plumber in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and material. You are a handyman or aspiring Plumber with a commitment to quality in all the work you do. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude with a strong work ethic and initiative is a must! This role involves carrying tools, preparing work areas, and assisting with tasks like pipe cutting, threading, and fixture installation under supervision. Repair and installation of faucets, toilets, shower fixtures, etc. Key responsibilities include following safety protocols, maintaining a clean workspace, and learning advanced plumbing skills while demonstrating a positive attitude, initiative and the willingness to take direction and constructive feedback to grow as a junior plumbing assistant. Key Responsibilities Assist in installation and maintenance: Help install, maintain, and repair water distribution and waste disposal systems, pipes, and fixtures like sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, etc.
Site preparation/clean-up:
Prepare and close job sites by clearing areas, and gathering and organizing all necessary tools and materials.
Basic plumbing tasks:
Assist lead plumber assembling tools and materials, professionally interact with customers.
Safety and compliance:
Follow all safety procedures and ensure that work complies with local and national regulations and building codes.
Tool and equipment maintenance:
Help keep all tools and equipment in good working order and properly stored and organized.
Customer interaction:
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of professional experience Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment Ability to lift 80lbs +
