Job Description

Overview The MD Plumbing & Sewer plumbing assistant's job is to support licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and material. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment and are eager to contribute their skills in plumbing, sewer and maintenance. This role involves carrying tools, preparing work areas, and assisting with tasks like pipe cutting, threading, and fixture installation under supervision. Repair and installation of faucets, toilets, shower fixtures, etc. Key responsibilities include following safety protocols, maintaining a clean workspace, and learning advanced plumbing skills while demonstrating a positive attitude, initiative and the willingness to take direction and constructive feedback to grow as a junior plumbing assistant. Key responsibilities : Assist in installation and maintenance: Help install, maintain, and repair water distribution and waste disposal systems, pipes, and fixtures like sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, etc.
Site preparation/clean-up:
Prepare and close job sites by clearing areas, and gathering and organizing all necessary tools and materials.
Basic plumbing tasks:
Assist lead plumber assembling tools and materials, Professionally interact with customers. Safety and compliance : Follow all safety procedures and ensure that work complies with local and national regulations and building codes.
Tool and equipment maintenance:
Help keep all tools and equipment in good working order and properly stored and organized.
Customer interaction:
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers.
