Duties:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in residential and commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and installation of plumbing systems
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as carpenters and handymen, to complete projects
• Drive commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to job sites
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble, install, and test plumbing systems
• Perform heavy lifting as needed to move materials and equipment
• Use basic math skills to measure, cut, and connect pipes
• Knowledge of HVAC systems to work on plumbing components related to heating and cooling
• Assist with remodeling projects that involve plumbing modifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a journeyman plumber or completion of an apprenticeship program
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for commercial driving purposes
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools effectively
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
• Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring, cutting, and connecting pipes
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
