Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumbing Sewer and Drain Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, with a focus on sewer and drain services. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites, reading blueprints, and operating various tools and equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects within commercial and residential settings, utilizing mechanical knowledge and construction skills to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities
  • Clearing clogs from various types of drains and pipes, such as floor drains, sinks, tubs, toilets, and urinals.
  • Using equipment like electric snakes, high-velocity water jets, and sewer cameras for inspecting drain lines.
  • Maintaining a safe work environment by following company rules and any state or local policies.
  • Providing excellent customer service and explaining issues and repairs to the customer.
  • Performing routine maintenance on drain systems to prevent future issues.
  • Responding to emergency callouts as required.
Qualifications Proven experience in plumbing, sewer, and drain services Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and schematics reading Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and remodeling techniques Experience with heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site access as required Handyman experience or background in construction or remodeling is a plus Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team This position is integral to delivering reliable plumbing solutions across various projects. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning within the construction plumbing field.

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
