A Plumber installs and repairs water pipes, including drainage pipes, in homes or larger buildings. Installs plumbing fixtures or appliances that use gas, and fixes plumbing problems such as clogged pipes.
The Plumber is responsible for installing, assembling, and testing plumbing systems in modular units. This role focuses on rough-in and finish plumbing, ensuring systems meet applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install plumbing systems in modular units including water supply, drainage, venting, and fixtures Measure, cut, assemble, and install pipes using materials such as PVC, CPVC, PEX, etc. Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and specialty commercial components Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity and code compliance Identify and resolve installation issues to maintain production line flow and quality standards Collaborate with other trades to ensure proper system integration Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety regulations Follow all safety procedures and company policies Maintain tools and equipment and a clean, organized work area Other duties as assigned This position is also expected to: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to quality Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients Be very detail oriented and well organized Be skilled at problem solving and analysis
Requirements:
Qualifications and Educational Requirements Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Preferred Qualifications Valid plumbing license or certification 1 year of soldering experience Job Requirements May require a drug test (following a conditional offer of employment) Speak fluent English to communicate with other employees This role requires the ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces for extended periods. The Plumber must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, use tools with precision, and work in various environmental conditions, including tight or elevated areas.
